Sandra Stöckli is a para-cyclist and the 2019 Swiss national road race champion. There is one opinion that she most definitely shares with her main sponsor V-ZUG, namely that perfection is worth striving for. Whether on a hand-cycle or in the laundry.
“I aim for perfection in every part of my daily life,” says para-cyclist Sandra Stöckli. Nothing is left to chance, everything is meticulously planned.
In sport, that means hours of hard training as well as getting equipment and kit ready and organizing competitions. In her private life, it’s the household chores which the reigning (2019) Swiss national champion has got under control.
After a competition there is a lot of washing to do. If time is short, Sandra Stöckli uses the Sprint programme, but otherwise she chooses the environmentally friendly Eco programme on her Adora washing machine.

Sandra Stöckli, 34, is a para-cyclist and the 2019 Swiss national road race champion. With V-ZUG as her main sponsor, the ambitious hand-cyclist rigorously pursues her goals as an elite athlete and hopes to take part in the 2020 Paralympics in Tokyo. In addition to training for 20 hours a week, Sandra Stöckli also works part time. She is married and lives in Rapperswil-Jona (canton of St. Gallen).
