Sandra Stöckli is a para-cyclist and the 2019 Swiss national road race champion. As an elite athlete, she travels to competitions by car and plane, but the environment and sustainability are extremely important to her.
“It’s hard to live sustainably as an elite athlete,” admits para-cyclist Sandra Stöckli. “I often travel to competitions by car or plane, but I still really care about the environment.” For this reason, she tries to be even more eco-friendly in her daily life, for example by doing her washing off peak.
Sandra also uses the EcoManagement feature on her V-ZUG appliances. “The information on the display tells me exactly how much energy or water I’ve saved,” the 34-year-old says delightedly. And whenever possible she uses the environmentally friendly Eco programme.
